Description:

Obe seems to be the calm and safe anchor of the group; some of the others gravitate toward him to snuggle and cuddle on top of or next to.

Hes a standout as the black cat of his grey tabby friends.

Obe is sweet and gentle, mellow and relaxed and only sometimes shy.

He likes to be petted and appreciates a good cheek rub and he answers with a strong purr and kneading paws.

As he adjusts to his temporary digs, hell present more of his personality.

We know theres more within Obe yet to discover.

Obe is one of a group of 6 fantastic cats who came from a very pampered indoor/outdoor home.

They had the very best of care; love, food and accommodations.

They were spoiled and well-cared for and it shows in each cat.

Sadly, their owner recently passed away, theyve lost the only home theyve known.

They are a bonded group; some more than others, and it would be ideal for them to be adopted out at least in pairs to maintain camaraderie since they lived together for many years.

They are all very comfortable as a group and take refuge in one another, but it is understandable they wont all be adopted out to one home; we wish.

Some are shyer than others, but they are all sweet, gentle and affectionate and respond with a heartfelt purr.

They do best with adults, in a calm setting and must in a home without dogs.

Older, mature kids may be okay for some of them.

They could adapt easily into a strictly indoor life.

But given time to acclimate to their surroundings, they can once again want to return to an indoor/outdoor life arrangement if its safe.

Their owner cared for these precious ones and these cats desire that pampering to continue in their new forever home.
